If you’re in Shibuya I recommend visiting the Tower Records store. While you may not be interested in purchasing overpriced cds there is still a decent bookstore on the 2nd floor as well as a cafe. You can find plenty of English books and also Japanese fashion/culture magazines. Tower Records can be found by taking the Hachiko Exit of Shibuya Station and then walk straight until you see it.
I love how in Japan they encourage customers to sit, read and take their time whilst in book stores.
